Subair 4000 Deluxe Aeration System for lakes and dams up to two acres depending on shape and depth of pond. 1/4 hp Rocking Piston compressor, aerates up to 15m deep. The SubAir 4000 Deluxe kit includes compressor, dual valved outlet assembly, pressure gauge and pressure relief valve all mounted in powder coated lockable weather proof steel cabinet with cooling fan and electrical outlet installed. Kit also includes 2 Quick Sink air diffusers but does not include tubing; order 3/8″ weighted airline as needed. SubAir 4000 Deluxe is ideal for aerating long, narrow ponds or two small ponds with one compressor. Deluxe Aeration Systems are appropriate for ponds covering up to 2 acres, with their effectiveness contingent upon the pond’s configuration and depth.

Aeration Kit for Ponds up to 2 acres
These diffused air systems utilize a shore-mounted air compressor that pumps oxygen through a hose to a special diffuser lying on the pond bottom. Since the bottom of the pond is where the most oxygen is consumed, it is an ideal way to deliver oxygen to where it’s needed most. As the bubbles rise out of the diffusers, they create a “lifting” or boiling action, which then creates considerable circulation throughout the pond. This circulation helps to prevent water stratification. The added oxygen and, equally important, the circulation created by these devices help to create a stable and productive ecosystem.
